Cannabis-Infused Peanut Butter Cups Recipe (2024)

Do you like peanut butter cups? Personally, my favorite is Reese’s peanut butter cups. This recipe below will show you how to make your very own peanut butter cups. Better yet, this recipe will show you how to infuse those cups with cannabis to make a tasty edible.

Ingredients

The recipe below will make 72 peanut butter cups, which should last you a while.

  • 1 1/4 oz. of marijuana
  • 1 cup of butter
  • A cup of peanut butter (smooth, creamy peanut butter is recommended)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • A pound of powdered sugar
  • 1 pound of melted chocolate

Instructions: Recipe for Cannabis-Infused Peanut Butter Cups

Step 1: Make the mix

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine your marijuana, butter, and peanut butter. Place this in a microwave and heat it for 2 minutes. Then, remove it from the microwave and stir it thoroughly. Next add your vanilla extract and powdered sugar, stirring it once again. Put this mix, still in a bowl, inside your refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow it to harden.

Step 2: Shape the cups

Once the mix has hardened for 30 minutes, pull it out of the refrigerator. Grab a muffin tin and some wax paper. Cut the wax paper to fit the size of the bottom of the muffin cups. The easiest way to do this is by flipping the muffin tin over and tracing the cups with the wax paper to get the exact size. Place the cut-out circles of wax paper inside each muffin cup, and line the sides with more wax paper. You should now have it to where the peanut butter mix cannot get stuck to the muffin tin at all. Using a spoon, place a small amount of chocolate in the bottom of each cup and spread up the sides about 3/4 of an inch. Now place the muffin tin in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Step 3: Make the cups

When those 10 minutes are up, remove the tin from the freezer and make palm-sized balls with the mix from Step 1. Once you have turned all of the mix into small balls, press each ball into the muffin tin cups. Then, cover the balls with chocolate and place them back in the freezer, but this time for 30 minutes. Finally, remove from the freezer and remove the wax paper. You can do this by flipping the tin over and tapping the bottom of the cups. Don’t forget to remove the paper that is on the bottom of each cup (unless you want to eat wax paper).

If you wish to save them for later, wrap them up individually and keep them in the freezer. They will stay good for one month. Pull some out at your leisure and enjoy them. But don’t eat too many; allow the high to kick in before stuffing your face with more, or you could end up with a too-intense high.

  1. I have infused the peanut butter itself with 1/2c infused (from concentrate not leaf)coconut oil to 1c of peanutbutter. It sets up great at room temp, however its turning pretty fluid with very little stimulation. Like just being on my finger. Can you recommend something to thicken it up without making it grainy or powdery?

    Reply

    • Try storing it in your refrigerator for awhile to allow your peanut butter to thicken.

  2. Is the bud decarbed? How are you getting the thc activated ? 2 minutes in the microwave doesn’t seem sufficient

    Reply

    • Yes, this is plenty of time for the bud to decarb in a microwave. Leaving them in longer may cause them to burn.

  3. Coffee grind your bud so it will really find Keefe

  4. Why not decarb your bud..then infuse the butter…using a strainer…that way no particles of pit can get inside the product and add that to the rest?

    • That would also work ?
